IELTS for Australia and New Zealand study
IELTS is the English test Malaysian students search most. We are not a booking site and we do not run the exam. We tell you which score your course and student visa actually need, when PTE is a better sitting, and how to time the test against your intake.
How IELTS sits in a study file
Institutions set entry scores. Student visas also look at English. The number on your report must match both, or you package an English program. Academic IELTS is the usual module for university. We will tell you the band you need for the specific course, not a generic “get 6.5.”
PTE Academic
PTE is widely accepted in Australia and is a common alternative in Malaysia. If you have already failed IELTS twice, we may suggest switching tests rather than repeating the same paper. Acceptance still depends on the institution.
What this page is not
We do not publish pirated “IELTS exam sample” packs or run a Penang test centre. Search those terms elsewhere. Come here when you need the score to mean something on an offer letter.

What IELTS score do I need to study in Australia?+
It depends on the course. Many bachelor programs sit around 6.0–6.5 overall with no band below a stated floor. Nursing and teaching are higher. We confirm against the institution, not a forum.
Can I apply without IELTS?+
Sometimes, via packaged English or another accepted test. Your visa story must still be genuine.
