Migrate to Australia
Australian visas for Malaysians, an overview
This page orients you. It is not every subclass. Visitor, student, skilled and family are the clusters Malaysians search. Full lodgement guides stay on haysmigration.com.au; the KL office is where we decide which cluster you are actually in.
Which queue are you in?
- Visitor: holidays and short family visits. No study, no work as a plan.
- Student (500): you have a course. Start on the study hub.
- Graduate (485): you already studied in Australia.
- Skilled: occupation, points, English, age, skills assessment.
- Employer: a business willing to sponsor.
- Family: partner or parent sponsorship.
How Malaysians usually apply
Most visas are lodged online via ImmiAccount. That does not mean you should DIY a skilled or student file. A visitor visa and a 189 are not the same risk. We will tell you when a simple visitor file can be self-lodged and when you need a MARA agent.
Questions families actually ask
FAQ
How do I apply for an Australia visa as a Malaysian?+
Create an ImmiAccount, choose the correct subclass, and attach the evidence that subclass actually asks for. If you are unsure which subclass, do not guess, a wrong lodgement can follow you.
Where is the full visa library?+
On haysmigration.com.au. This Malaysia site stays short on purpose.
